Cat Home Visits

When cat owners need to be away the biggest problem that they face is what to do with the cat/s. Many cat owners would have concerns in taking their cat/s to traditional boarding set ups. We believe that this is a justified concern and we have organised our Cat Home Visits service to address this specific problem. Our Cat Home Visits program involves visiting the cat/s in their own home at a prearranged daily visit frequency.

As with every other service that we offer, we try to approach the situation in a holistic way and therefore we incorporate property up keeping as part and parcel of our Cat Home Visits service. The property up keeping aspect of the service covers a multitude of things ranging from checking things such as electricity mains supply and that no water leaks develop, to taking in the mail and watering any plants. There have also been requests in which cat owners ask us to buy some basic kitchen supplies like milk and bread so they find them on their return home.

Cats that are on our Cat Home Visits program are not only just fed but we put an effort to spend valuable time with them. By valuable time we mean time spent interacting with the cat/s. The form of interaction varies from cat to cat. Interaction with some may be cuddling whereas with others it may be playing with a feather at the end of a line. Unfortunately there is a notion that cats are more independent than dogs and do not require a lot of human interaction. It is true that cats are more independent however experience has shown us that although less, cats still need an amount of human interaction. Keeping this in mind we try to spend valuable time with the cats we visit in order to avoid any potential behavioural issues.

The Cat Home Visits service incorporates picture and video updates sent to the owner. All update material is uploaded to our server and the cat owner is given a secure and unique link that gives access to the picture and video updates. We also set up a log file which is accessible via the same secure and unique link. In this log file we input daily summaries in reverse chronological order. In this manner we make sure to keep in touch with the owner and give constant feedback of the situation. We use such a secure system to ensure the utmost of privacy.
